One of the goals of the Oklahoma Developmental Disabilities Council is to increase the number of people with developmental disabilities who reach their educational goals.
Since 2004, the Council has funded an annual leadership development
program for Oklahoma high school juniors and seniors with disabilities. This
week-long forum on a college campus focuses on leadership, assistive technology,
independent living, higher education, career development options and the
Oklahoma legislative process.
